Net descriptions

• Neighborhood Readiness Net -  weekly information net with check-ins, announcements, round-table for individual sharing and general comments. Also, to monitor coverage and participation of the repeater on a weekly basis to help ensure readiness in case of an actual emergency or severe weather event. The goal is to have at least one GMRS operator in every community check-in. 

In the event of a severe weather event, this net may be put into effect provided that volunteers are available to do so. 

• Simplex Net - A net for testing radio setups without use of the repeater. The simplex net is helpful for determing range of your radio equipment.
